When to use
- You want to bring your Cloud Chat and ClaudIA operation data into your company's data lake or BI tool.
- Your data team needs the raw data, not just the platform's ready-made reports.
- You want to cross your support data with other internal sources in your operation.
Prerequisites
- A technical team — preferably a data team — to consume the files and bring them into your environment.
- The service must be enabled by Cloud Humans. It is off by default and cannot be turned on by yourself from the platform.
If your operation does not have a dedicated data team, Cloud Chat's dashboards and Report Builder usually serve you better: they are visual, ready to use, and don't depend on a technical team.
How it works
Where the data lives
We provide an S3 bucket dedicated to your company on AWS. In practice, it is a folder in the cloud — like a Google Drive folder, only Amazon's. Every day the files with your operation's data are uploaded to that folder.
Daily load (D-1)
The load runs overnight and covers data up to the previous day. In other words: today you access data from yesterday back; tomorrow, data from today back.
Read-only access
Access is read-only. Nobody on your team can write, overwrite, or delete files in the bucket.
You keep control of access
We do not issue our own credentials to your team. Your data team provides the identifier of a role in your own AWS account, and we authorize that access on the bucket. The credential never leaves your environment.
How to request it
- Talk to your point of contact at Cloud Humans (CSM) or to our support team and ask for Data Export access.
- Our team confirms whether the service makes sense for your operation and provisions the bucket.
- Your data team sends the role identifier from your AWS account, and we grant access.
- From the next day on, data starts being delivered to your folder.
