How to Hide a Portal from the Help Center Header (Without Restricting Access)

By default, all portals created within a Help Center appear in the navigation header (top menu).

🔧 Step-by-step:

If you want to remove a portal from this menu, but still allow access via direct link, follow the steps below:

  1. Access the “Settings” tab of the portal you want to hide.

  2. Locate the “Public” option.

  3. Uncheck this option.

âś… Done! The portal will no longer appear in the Help Center header.

đź”— Will the portal still be accessible?

Yes. Even with the “Public” option unchecked:

  • The portal remains accessible via direct link

  • The link is set in the “Slug” field on the previous screen

⚠️ IMPORTANT: This is not a security measure. Anyone with the link can still access the portal's content.
