What is the Jira integration?
Jira integration allows agents to create, link, and unlink Jira issues directly from within a conversation in CloudChat. This eliminates the need to switch between tools and ensures traceability between support interactions and product/engineering tickets.

Prerequisites

Jira Cloud account (Atlassian)
-
A Jira user with permission to create issues in the desired projects
-
A Jira API Token (generated at https://id.atlassian.net/manage-profile/security/api-tokens)
How to set up the integration?
-
Go to Settings > Integrations in the CloudChat sidebar menu.
-
Click on Jira and then on Connect.
-
Fill in the fields:
-
Jira Site URL — e.g.,Â
https://yourcompany.atlassian.net -
Email — the email of the Jira user that will be used for API calls
-
API Token — the token generated in the previous step
-

The integration will be available to all agents in the account.
