About this article
This article covers self-service tag management within the Hub: creating new tags, editing existing ones, deleting — and the specifics for Intercom.
Step-by-step
Step 1 — Create a new tag
-
In the Hub, go to the Tags screen
-
Click + create tag in the top right corner
-
Define the tag name

Click Save

:::success If the tag does not exist in your helpdesk, it will be automatically created in the helpdesk when ClaudIA uses it. :::
Step 2 — (Intercom only) Tag functionality
Users of Intercom see an extra column called Helpdesk Tag — it is the mapping between the ClaudIA tag and the Intercom tag.

When creating a new tag in the Hub for Intercom, two fields appear:
-
Tag — name of the tag you want to use
-
Helpdesk Tag (optional) — which Intercom tag will be used

Step 3 — Edit or delete existing tags

Edit
-
Click the pencil icon (✏️) in the Action column
-
Change the name
-
For Intercom, you can also change the helpdesk tag mapping
Delete
-
Click the red trash can (🗑️) in the Action column
-
Confirm by clicking Delete (red), or Cancel
