ClaudIA Settings — General

Last updated on Jul 22, 2026

When to use it

  • To set the project's display name and primary language for ClaudIA.
  • To review or adjust which knowledge bases ClaudIA consults in this project.

How it works

The General section brings together the project's identity and its content sources. It has two blocks.

Project identification

  • Project name — the project's internal identifier. It is read-only (not editable).
  • Display name — optional. The project name shown across the application's interfaces.
  • Language — the primary language ClaudIA uses in certain features (e.g., the "Reasoning" about the sections it used). It does not affect the language of the responses generated by the base prompt.

Knowledge bases

  • Knowledge bases — the bases associated with this project, which ClaudIA can consult to answer. Add or remove bases from the list.

Notes

  • To create and manage the content of the bases, use the Content area (in ClaudIA's side menu).
  • Changed something? The block is only saved after you click Save.
