What is the Change History?

The change history allows you to view and restore previous versions of your Eddie. It's like having a "time machine" that saves different moments of your bot.

When are versions created?

Eddie automatically creates a new version in the history whenever you:

  • Publish the flow

  • Restore a previous version

How to access the History?

  1. In the Eddie editor, click on the history icon ↊ī¸

  2. A sidebar will open on the right

  3. You will see a list of all saved versions

What do you see in each version?

Each version in the history shows:

  • Date and time when it was created

  • Your name or the person who made the change

  • Type: Published, Restored, or Manual

  • Number of blocks the flow had at that moment

What can you do?

Restore a version

  • Click on the restore button ↊ī¸

  • The flow returns exactly as it was at that moment

  • Warning: You will lose unsaved changes

Duplicate a version

  • Click on the duplicate 📑 button

  • Creates a new flow with that version

  • Your original flow remains unchanged

Important Tips

✅ Remember

  • Always publish before making major changes

  • Restoring deletes things you haven't saved

  • Use duplication to perform safe experiments

The change history is your safety net! Use it whenever you need to revert or try something new. 🚀
