When to Use
-
A policy, deadline, or price changes from a specified date, and the new text is ready and approved before that date.
-
You want to review content carefully, without the change taking effect at the moment you save.
-
You need the current version to continue responding to customers until the last minute before the update.
How it Works
When editing content that is already published, you can save the change as a pending version, instead of making it live immediately. ClaudIA manages two versions of the same content:
-
The live version, which continues to serve customers normally.
-
The pending version, which is stored waiting for the designated moment to go live.
The pending version can have a scheduled date (appears in the Scheduled tab) or be unscheduled (appears in the Drafts tab). When the time comes, ClaudIA automatically switches the two versions β no one needs to be on the platform at that moment.
Each content piece can have at most one pending version at a time. Saving over content that already has a pending version updates that version, instead of creating a new one.
Where Each Version Appears
-
Published β shows the text that is live. A banner indicates there is a pending update awaiting approval.
-
Scheduled β highlights the upcoming text, with the scheduled date and countdown. Below it, ClaudIA reminds which version remains live until publication.
-
Drafts β similar to the previous tab, for pending versions without a scheduled date.
Step-by-step
Step 1 β Open the Published Content
In Contents, open the content you want to modify. It needs to be published.
Step 2 β Make the Change
Edit the title and response as usual.
Step 3 β Choose When the Change Enters
-
Schedule β select the date and time. The screen shows the text that will go live and the exact exchange moment before confirmation.
-
Save Draft β save the change without a date. It will only go live when you publish.
-
Update β make the change go live immediately, as before.
Step 4 β Monitor, Reschedule, or Discard
Reopen the content and use the Live and Pending tabs to compare versions. In the Pending tab you can:
-
Reschedule β change the date and time.
-
Discard Update β delete the pending version and keep only the live one.
-
Publish Now β immediately make the pending version live, without waiting for the scheduled date.
Notes
-
Publishing occurs within approximately one minute of the chosen time because ClaudIA checks schedules every minute.
-
If the content has been deactivated after scheduling the update, it goes back live along with the pending versionβs publication. This covers scenarios of deactivating problematic content with a scheduled correction.
-
Saving via the Live tab while an update is scheduled alters the pending text but does not change the scheduled date. The interface warns and continues showing the original date.
Publishing the text from the Live tab replaces the waiting version β the pending change is discarded. The platform asks for confirmation beforehand, displaying the lost date.
