Start with Controlled Flow

Configuration for ClaudIA to start in a Controlled Flow

By default, ClaudIA directs interactions to Controlled Flows only in cases of interactive sessions. However, it can be configured to start all sessions directly in a Controlled Flow. This functionality is especially useful for simple screenings, such as lead collection, or for other automated operations that can be efficiently performed by Controlled Flows.

Although ClaudIA is designed as an advanced conversational AI — moving away from the traditional concept of "decision tree bots" — we acknowledge that short and controlled flows can be extremely beneficial. This is even more evident when we need to access external systems for reading or updating data, ensuring fast and accurate operations.

How to Configure

On the Hub settings screen, you will find the "Start With Controlled Flow" section. In this section, you can enable or disable automatic redirection to a specific Controlled Flow. To configure:

  1. Check the box to enable redirection.

  2. Enter the flow ID generated by Controlled Flows in the corresponding field.

With this configuration, you can customize ClaudIA's behavior according to your business needs, maintaining a balance between efficient automation and a more dynamic service experience.
