Setup for ClaudIA to start in a Controlled Flow

By default, ClaudIA directs interactions to Controlled Flows only during interactive sessions. However, it can be configured so that all sessions start directly in a Controlled Flow. This functionality is especially useful for simple triages, such as lead collection, or for other automated operations that can be efficiently handled by Controlled Flows.

Although ClaudIA is designed as an advanced conversational AI — moving away from the traditional "decision tree bots" concept — we recognize that short, controlled flows can be extremely advantageous. This is even more evident when we need to access external systems for reading or updating data, ensuring quick and accurate operations.

How to Configure

In the ClaudIA Panel settings screen, you will find the "Start with Controlled Flow" section. In this section, you can enable or disable automatic routing to a specific Controlled Flow. To set it up:

  1. Check the checkbox to enable redirection.

  2. Enter the Flow ID generated by the Controlled Flow in the corresponding field.

With this setup, you can customize ClaudIA's behavior according to your business needs, maintaining a balance between efficient automation and a more dynamic customer service experience.
